The BassiNest based should be cleaned regularly by using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. Do not use bleach. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse with clean water. Allow to dry completely before use.
Care For Pad:
- Cover: Remove cover. Wash before use. Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Wash seperately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
- Foam Core: Spot clean only. Do not submerge in water. Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
- Mesh Sides: Remove mesh from BassiNest. Machine wash cold with like color, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Soothing system requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
Safety Disclaimer
Detachable nest should ONLY be used while baby is awake and parent is supervising. Baby should not sleep in nest when detached from base or be left unattended. Do not detach nest and move around house while baby is inside. When detached, nest should ONLY be used on the floor. Do not used on raised or unlevel surfaces.

How does the BassiNest Swivel Sleeper's easy lowering wall work?
BassiNest's front wall lowers easily when mom reaches in to access her baby; no bending over or twisting required. This is especially helpful for C-section moms! For safety, it automatically returns to its original, upright position when the pressure is removed. If desired, it can be locked in the upright position.
Can the BassiNest Swivel Sleeper be used on either side of the bed?
Yes, the BassiNest Swivel Sleeper's 360° range of motion means that it can be positioned and used on either side of an adult bed.
Can it be used with all kinds of adult beds?
BassiNest 3.0 is designed to be used with most beds. It's height is adjustable to slide over adult beds from 23.5" to 30" high. Additionally, the legs can be tucked fully or partially under almost any bed, ideal for smaller spaces.
For especially low profile or platform beds (bed is 4.5" or lower from lower), recommend other BassiNest models, including Flex and Luxe. These include lower profile legs that will more easily fit under low clearance areas.
Can it be used on bare or carpeted floors?
Yes, the BassiNest Swivel Sleeper can be used on bare or carpeted floors. If using with an area rug, please ensure that all four legs are placed either on or off the rug for maximum stability.
Can the top portion be removed from the BassiNest base and used without it?
BassiNest 3.0, 3.0 Soothing and Luxe feature a removable nest that can be used on and off the base, so baby has a safe space for around the house. Never remove the bed while baby is still in it. Additionally, the removable BassiNest bed should not be used as a co-sleeper.
Older versions of BassiNest including Premiere and Essentia do not have this feature and should not be used off the base.
Can the easy lowering wall be locked in the "down" position?
