Instructions for Use:
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Gather all necessary supplies, including the CompactCath Intermittent Urinary Catheter, sterile lubricant, and a collection bag or container.
- Prepare the insertion area by cleaning the urethral meatus (the opening of the urethra) with a sterile wipe.
- Open the CompactCath Intermittent Urinary Catheter package and remove the catheter.
- Apply a small amount of sterile lubricant to the tapered tip of the catheter.
- Hold the catheter with your dominant hand and gently insert it into the urethra.
- Advance the catheter slowly until urine begins to flow into the collection bag or container.
- Once urine flow has stopped, gently remove the catheter.
- Dispose of the used catheter and any contaminated supplies in accordance with local guidelines.
