EmPower Dual-Enzymatic Instrument Detergent, Unscented - 4/Case

EmPower is specifically formulated with a blend of high quality medical enzymes to effectively remove a wide range of debris and soils, and provides excellent cleaning efficacy. It is an economical alternative to MetriZyme, the other enzymatic detergent with a higher enzyme concentration, when there is moderate to low organic debris. The unique enzyme blend contains protease enzymes, amylase enzyme and lipase enzyme. Protease enzymes are specifically designed to break down and remove protein-based soils, such as blood and tissue, from instruments. Amylase enzymes break down and remove starch-based soils, while lipase enzymes break down and remove lipid-based soils, such as oils and fats.

EmPower is designed with a low-foam formulation, which makes it easy to rinse and reduces the risk of clogging in automatic washers. This versatile detergent can be used with water temperatures up to 55C/131F and is available in both fragrance and fragrance-free versions. The reformulated multi-enzymatic solution provides better cleaning power for a wide range of instruments and has a neutral pH formula that provides advanced corrosion protection that is safe for a wide variety of materials including metal, plastic, rubber and glass for your instrument reprocessing needs.

Recommended Application:

Instrument reprocessing, pre-soak, manual cleaning, ultrasonic cleaner, dental evacuation system cleaner and automatic washer at Clinical facilities such as Dermatology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, General Surgery Centers, Urgent Care, Urology, Dentistry.

Formulation Options:

Risk:

• May cause eye and skin irritation.
• May cause throat, mouth and stomach irritation if ingested.
• Repeated inhalation may result in sensitization and allergic reaction in hypersensitive individuals.

Precautionary Measures:

Avoid breathing mist, vapors or spray. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection.

First Aid Measures:

• Eyes-Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. Temporary redness of eye may occur.
• Skin-Wash with soap and water.
• Inhalation- Remove to fresh air. Consult physician if allergic response exhibited.
