Esenta Sting-Free Skin Barrier Wipes are a skin prep that creates a breathable barrier between the skin and stomal output, skin-harming enzymes, bodily waste, and medical adhesives. The Convatec Esenta No Sting Ostomy Wipes are skin-friendly and can be used on sensitive skin around the stoma. It decreases the risk of skin damage and irritation and is safe and effective even when used frequently.

The skin barrier wipes are suitable for all ostomies, including colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy, and they may be used on flush stomas, retracted stomas, and with high or light stomal output. These wipes tolerate bathing and can be worn at any time of day or night. Esenta Skin Barrier Wipes can be used to protect your skin from any sort of adhesive, such as the glue used in bandages and wound dressings or medical tape. The ostomy Skin Barrier Wipes has a wear time of 72 hours before it needs to be replaced and reapplied.

Getting Started
Clean and dry the skin. Tear sachet to open and unfold wipe.

Easy to Apply
Gently wipe the area to protect it and wait until dry.

Check if the skin is dry
Ensure the area is completely dry before applying adhesive products such as ostomy appliances or dressings.

Reapply
Esenta Skin barrier should be replaced at every dressing or appliance change to mainatain complete protection. Reapplication is recommended every 12-72 hours, dependent upon skin surface conditions. Esenta Barrier will not cause a build-up of barrier film on the skin surface.
