Lansinoh nipples are designed with features to make the transition from breastfeeding to bottle and back easier for your little one. The super-soft and flexible nipple is designed for just the right compression to allow baby to use the same feeding actions they learned while breastfeeding. A wide base and gradual slope allow baby’s mouth to open wide and get a proper latch.

Suggestions for Use

Before first use, sanitize the nipple by placing it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Always wash and dry hands thoroughly with soap and water before assembly. Insert the nipple through the top of the screw cap collar verifying it is centered and seated properly in the collar. Attach the screw cap collar securely onto the bottleneck. After each use, rinse the nipple with cold water. Place the nipple in a clean wash basin used only for washing infant feeding equipment. Do not place it directly in the sink, as germs in sinks or drains could contaminate the nipple. Instead, wash the nipple using hot soapy water inside the wash basin. Rinse well with clean running water and place on a clean towel to air dry thoroughly. Dishwasher safe on top rack only. Safe to clean in a microwave-safe, steam sterilizer bag and special sterilizing machine.

I have slow, medium and fast nipples - is there a way to tell them apart?

On the bottom rim of the nipple, the slow-flow nipple reads “Size 2S”, the medium-flow reads “Size 3M”.

When should I change the flow for my child’s NaturalWave nipple?

While using our Lansinoh NaturalWave Nipples, there is no exact age when you should switch the flow of nipple for your child. The best way to tell is by watching their feeding habits.

For example, if you notice that your child is sucking for a long time but still unable to get milk out as quickly as they used to, then that is an indication that they may need a faster flow nipple.

However, if you do notice that milk is spilling onto the baby’s neck while feeding then that is an indication that they will need a slower flow nipple.
