MEDIHONEY Calcium Alginate Dressing is a unique wound care solution that combines the healing properties of 100% active Leptospermum honey with a calcium alginate pad. The calcium alginate dressing supports the removal of necrotic tissue and aids in the healing process of wounds. This dressing is particularly suitable for wounds with moderate to heavy amounts of exudate or when light packing is required. It ensures non-traumatic removal, allowing for a gentle and comfortable experience for the patient.

Through their high osmolarity, the Calcium Alginate dressing helps to cleanse the wound and remove devitalized tissue. MediHoney dressing is designed to manage varying degrees of exudate. The honey in the dressing also has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help to promote wound healing.
