Curad Oil Emulsion Dressing is a conveniently sized gauze dressing for small wounds and abrasions for small areas that need to heal from deep incisions or abrasions. The gauze is to be used as a primary and secondary dressing, it is offered sterile and is one of the first options that many surgeons use post-surgery as the sterile properties of the dressing help stop the growth of bacteria and prevent infections from occurring. The non-occlusive dressing solution is one that is made to help enhance the healing process. By keeping moisture within the dressing, it allows a process to take place that helps expedite the healing process. The gauze is one that helps retain this moisture. When moisture isn't handled correctly in a wound, then the healing process can take longer and may result in a more prominent scar. Infused with a white petrolatum solution, this helps seal in the moisture and keep a barrier of layered protection in repelling water.
