Optifoam Gentle EX comes with 5 unique layers with a superabsorbent core that absorbs exudate, converts it into a gel, and locks it away. It is a highly conformable foam dressing with a gentle silicone adhesive that can be lifted and reapplied. In helping a wound heal and reduce maceration, Optifoam Gentle EX Dressings utilize a waterproof, five-layer design. This construction draws in and holds onto exudate, preventing the spread of infection, while conforming to the wound’s base and shape. Ideal for partial and full-thickness wounds with drainage.
