Optifoam Gentle Silicone Foam Dressing the silicone adhesive in the medline optifoam gentle silicone faced foam and border dressing has 5 layers and a superabsorbent core that absorbs exudate and convert it into a gel locking it away. Optifoam gentle foam dressing is highly conformable dressing which can be removed and reapplied. Optifoam dressing has a low-profile regular design and a moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) that adjusts to the level of fluid and improves breath ability. Optifoam silicon adhesive dressing is available in multiple sizes.

Optifoam Gentle helps to reduce the pain and trauma of dressing changes. Includes a specially formulated silicone adhesive to help keep it in place. Optifoam’s absorbent core absorbs and retains fluid, and helps prevent shear and frictions.
