The Safetac interface layer reduces pain and trauma during dressing changes by gently adhering to the skin without sticking to the wound bed, resulting in a more comfortable experience for the patient. The addition of an antimicrobial silver layer distinguishes this dressing by providing a sustained release of silver ions, which helps reduce the risk of infection.
