<p><b>Indications for Use: </b>The NEOMED Sampling Straw with ENFit Connector is indicated for use in conjunction with an ENFit enteral syringe to aid in fluid withdrawal and transfer from a container.</p> <p><b>Features</b></p> <ul> <li><strong>Color:</strong> Orange</li> <li><b>Length: </b>6 Inch</li> <li>Sampling straws allow for aseptic withdrawal and transfer of f luid from a container using an ENFit enteral syringe.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Intended Users:</strong> This device is intended to be used by healthcare professionals.</p> <p><strong>Patient Target Group:</strong> This device is intended for use in neonatal and pediatric patients.</p> <p><strong>Contraindications:</strong> The NEOMED Sampling Straw is intended to connect to products with ENFit compatible connectors. They will only connect to ENFit enteral syringes.</p> <p><strong>Device Lifetime</strong>: Devices are validated for use up to 24 hours.</p> <p><strong>Instructions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Wash hands per facility protocol.</li> <li>Attach straw to syringe.</li> <li>Place end of straw into container or cup.</li> <li>Draw up desired volume.</li> <li>Remove any air bubbles.</li> <li>Remove straw and cap syringe until ready for use.</li> <li>After use, dispose of device per facility protocols and/or local national regulations</li> </ul>
