under various circumstances to verify the accuracy and reliability of
glucose readings.

When to Perform Control Solution Testing:
When using the monitor for the first time
When using a new bottle of Embrace TALK Blood Glucose Test Strips
After leaving the test strip bottle cap open for an extended period
Following an incident where the monitor may have been damaged, such
as dropping it
If there are suspicions that the monitor or test strips are not
functioning correctly
When blood glucose test results do not align with how the user feels
Performing a Control Solution Test:
Step 1: Preparation
Check the expiration date of the control solution and ensure it is
not expired.
Determine whether the control solution is labeled as LOW or HIGH and
set the monitor accordingly (L1 for LOW, L2 for HIGH).
Gently mix the control solution by rolling the bottle between your
hands.
Place 2 drops of control solution on a clean glass or plastic plate
and immediately replace the cap on the control solution bottle.
Step 2: Insert Test Strip
Insert an Embrace TALK Test Strip into the monitor and close the lid
promptly.
Step 3: Set Monitor
Turn on the monitor by inserting the test strip. The monitor will
prompt with audio instructions if the talking feature is enabled.
Press the appropriate button based on the level of control solution
used (bottom button for LOW-L1, top button for HIGH-L2). The monitor
will display L1/L2 accordingly.
Step 4: Apply Control Solution
Gently guide the tip of the test strip into the drop of control
solution. The monitor will play a melody and begin a countdown.
After 6 seconds, the control solution reading will be displayed on
the monitor.
Step 5: Compare Results
Compare the displayed reading with the control solution range
indicated on the bottle of test strips.
If the reading falls within the specified range for the
corresponding level (L1 or L2), the monitor and strips are functioning
correctly.
Follow these steps for both Level 1 and Level 2 Control Solution
tests to ensure the accuracy of the Embrace TALK Blood Glucose Monitor
and Test Strips.

Wrong brand of Control Solution being used
Make sure you are using Embrace TALK Control Solution.
Control Solution not at room temperature
Make sure the testing environment is between 50�F to 104�F, <85% RH.
Expired or contaminated control solution
Check the expiration and open bottle date on both the control solution and test strips. (Test strips should be used within 6 months from date opened. Control solution should be used within 3 months from date opened). Repeat testing using a new test strip. If the result is still out of range, use a new bottle of control solution and retest.
Damaged test strip
Monitor malfunction

If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
