Phenol EZ Swabs comprise of 30 ampoules, containing Liquefied Phenol, USP 89% (0.175 - 0.2 mL).
Directions:
- For Professional Use Only.
- This ampoule is closed and the phenol is not in contact with the applicator.
- Simply push the applicator downward to stop, allowing the phenol to moisten the microtip applicator.
- Pull out the applicator and apply the material.
- After use, applicator is put back in the ampoule and the system can be disposed of.
Disposal:
- Treat all used Phenol EZ Swabs and ampoules as medical waste.
- Dispose of according to local laws and regulations for such waste.
Caution:
Avoid unnecessary contact with skin, since serious burns may result.
Recommended Storage:
- Store at room temperature. Avoid prolonged exposure above 35C° (95°F).
- Swabs must remain in individual foil pouch until use.
Warnings:

- Wash thoroughly after handling.
First Aid:
External:
- In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
- Give appropriate medical attention.
- Wash clothing before reuse.
Internal:
- If swallowed, do not induce vomiting without specified instructions from a physician.
- If conscious, give Milk of Magnesia or egg white beaten in water.
- Keep patient quiet and warm.
- If inhaled, move patient to fresh air.
- If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
- If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Give appropriate medical attention.
