Engineered with proven PressureGuard technology, this therapeutic mattress blends alternating pressure air therapy with advanced foam construction to promote better rest, assist with safer transfers, and help maintain skin integrity. Features:
- Alternating Pressure Air Therapy: Provides gentle, efficient pressure changes without creating sharp pressure gradients. Air cylinders alternate in an 8 to 10 minute cycle to redistribute weight consistently.
- Geo Matt Surface: The segmented foam topper contains more than 800 articulating cells to reduce shear, draw heat away from the skin, and help manage moisture.
- Safety Edge System: Two part perimeter bolsters enhance edge of bed stability, support safer transfers, and guide the user toward the center of the mattress.
- Balanced Support: Head to foot air cylinder layout improves pressure reduction and provides stronger support in the seat area when the head of the bed is elevated.
- Powered Flotation Mode: Offers a uniform flotation environment for additional comfort and therapeutic benefit.

Alternating Pressure Air Therapy
Unlike other alternating pressure mattresses, the PressureGuard® APM won’t create extreme pressure gradients between inflated and deflated cylinders. On top, the Geo-Matt® anti-shearing surface forms a comfortable, therapeutic interface between the air system and the user. It absorbs and smooths sharp pressure drop-offs that other surfaces can’t, while the air system does the “heavy lifting” below, alternating weightbearing across the surface in ten-minute cycles. Other standard PressureGuard® features include the exclusive Heel Slope™ taper, and two-part Safety-Edge bolster system for added stability when sitting or transferring. The PressureGuard® APM is recognized for reimbursement under Medicare Code: E0277.

- Manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that this products components, software, and cover will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 18-months, non-prorated from the date of purchase, when maintained according to manufacturer specifications, using manufacturer provided equipment and maintenance schedule.
- The warranty specifically excludes liability for failure caused by improper use and/or maintenance of the system, and/or use of the product without the cover provided by the manufacturer.
- Normal wear patterns are not covered under this warranty.
- The manufacturer makes no warranty with respect to PressureGuard products or their components that have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or unauthorized modification.
- Parts under warranty will be covered at no cost. Any labor cost for service under warranty is not covered as per our terms of sale.
