<p>URGOK2 2 Lite Layer Compression Bandage System is a dual compression system composed of a short stretch bandage (KTECH) and a long stretch bandage (KPRESS). Exclusive PresSure system with pressure spot indicators on both bandages aids the application of the recommended therapeutic pressure of around 40mmHg from the first application.</p><p><b>Benefits</b>: Continuous, consistent and comfortable therapeutic pressure delivered day and night.</p><p><b>Features</b></p><ul><li>Long stretch</li><li>Self-adhering</li><li>Short stretch</li><li>Multilayer system</li><li>Not made w/ natural rubber latex</li><li>20-30mmHg, 30-40mmHg, 40-50mmHg</li></ul><p><b>Indications:</b> UrgoK2 is for the treatment of venous leg ulcers, venous edema and lymphedema, which require full compression.</p><p><b>Contraindications: </b> </p><ul><li>Ulceration caused by infection. </li><li>Ankle-brachial Index (ABI) <0.8.</li><li>Allergy to any of the components.</li><li>Arterial conditions (arterial or predominantly arterial ulcers; known or suspected arterial disease).</li><li>Patients suffering from diabetic microangiopathy, ischemic phlbitis (phlegmatia coerulea dolens), septic thrombosis.</li></ul><p><b>Warnings and Precautions: </b></p><ul><li>Check that the ABI >0.8 before prescribing the bandage system.</li><li>Any serious incident linked to the product has to be reported to the manufacturer.</li><li>In case of infected peri-ulcer dermatitis, treat infection before commencing compression bandage therapy.</li><li>The efficacy of UrgoK2 has been tested and validated for the application KTECH and KPRESS together.</li><li>If you have any concern, especially in case of pain whilst wearing the compression system, contact your doctor or clinician.</li><li>In case of an ulcer from a rare origin (vasculitis, hemopathy, pyoderma gangrenosum, etc.) the compression system should only be used following specialist referral.</li><li>In the event of diabetes, heart failure or advanced micro-vascular disease, use the compression system with close medical monitoring following appropriate treatment.</li><li>The PresSure system has been specifically designed to aid application of the bandages; it is important to follow the instructions carefully to achieve the recommended therapeutic pressure.</li></ul><p><b>Storage Requirements:</b> Store away from light and heat.</p><p><b>How Supplied/Sizing:</b> For ankle 18cm-25cm: KTECH: 6.6yd; KPRESS: 7.8yd stretched. For ankle 25cm-32cm: KTECH 8yd; KPRESS: 11.5yd stretched.</p><p><b>Recommended Use:</b> Venous Ulcers</p><p><b>Removal & Change Frequency:</b> UrgoK2 should be left in place both day and night until the next dressing change at the direction of the clinician.
