Vitale Collagen Powder is a native bovine collagen wound dressing that is sterile, white to off-white, absorbent and resorbable powder. Vitale Collagen Powder maintains a moist wound environment to support wound healing.

Vitale Collagen Powder can be applied to a wound either in the dry state or pre-hydrated with sterile saline, and can be used in conjunction with other suitable secondary dressings indicated for wound management. The device is intended for one time use.

How To Apply

1. Clean the wound with sterile physiological saline using existing clinical protocol. Dry the surrounding skin gently.
2. Peel open packet and apply sufficient powder to ensure approximately 1⁄4” depth of coverage of the wound bed. Do not overpack or compress powder as it may expand as it absorbs wound exudate.
3. Choose and apply appropriate secondary dressing or cover with an absorbent dressing to secure and protect collagen powder.
4. Change dressings daily, as directed, when fully saturated or according to facility change policy, but at least every 7 days.
5. When changing, remove Secondary Dressing, and gently remove gel formed of dressing and exudate. Clean the wound with sterile physiological saline using existing clinical protocol. Dry the surrounding skin gently

• Abrasions

CAUTION: Vitale Collagen Powder is intended for topical use only. Avoid inhalation and flush immediately with water if product comes in contact with eyes. Do not use with uncontrolled clinical infection. Do not use dressing after expiration date.

Side Effects & Interactions: Vitale Collagen Powder should not be used on patients with known sensitivity or allergy to bovine collagen. Should not be used on third-degree burns.

Storage: Vitale Collagen Powder should be stored in a cool & dry area. The products are sterile unless the package is opened or damaged..
