The Ruby Adjustable Chin Strap is made up of a comfortable neoprene material that will hold your mouth and chin in place during CPAP therapy, reducing airflow leaks out of the mouth. The sleep apnea chin strap is adjustable at two different spots so that the user can have a customizable fit that is both comfortable and effective.

Two different sizes

The Ruby Adjustable Chin Strap is available in standard and extra-large, giving the user multiple options for different head sizes and types.

• Standard = 22 to 24 inches.
• Extra large = 26 to 28 inches.
• Measure from the chin, around the top of the head and back down to the chin.
• The strap that passes over the back of the head is approximately 3 inches wide.
• The strap that passes over the top or crown of the head is much thinner, approximately 1 inch.

Velcro Adjustments

Velcro makes adjusting the sleep apnea chin strap hassle free while also reducing pressure on the face, resulting in a more comfortable night's sleep during CPAP therapy. This allows the sleep apnea chin strap to have a customizable fit that will reduce or completely eliminate airflow leaks out of the mouth during the night.

Fitting Instruction

1. Open up the chinstrap, so it is flat and make sure the thin strap points towards the top of the head. The wider strap will be on the bottom.
2. Pull chin cup over the chin
3. Close the top strap with the Velcro, adjust as needed
4. Close the wide back strap (this is sitting on the back of your neck), adjust Velcro as needed
5. Your ears will sit in the ear cut outs

I was having trouble with keeping my mouth closed during CPAP therapy, having a lot of mouth leaks at night resulting in waking up with a dry throat. This chin strap was great because it is adjustable, allowing me to tighten or loosen at my discretion very easily in order to make sure that my chin was secure while not sacrificing comfort. There are two different adjustment points, one on top of the head, and one at the bottom of the chin near the neck, which allowed me to adjust in both spots so that I could find the perfect fit.
